Today, Tuesday, the State of Law coalition expressed its hope for a national dialogue, while calling on the political blocs to come together.
The representative of the State of Law bloc affiliated with the coordination framework, Jawad al-Bolani, explained in a statement to the official newspaper, that "the framework, the Sadrist bloc and the independents put forward initiatives and they were close to each other, and the situation could devolve into a national dialogue that results in a week of national consensus to produce a political plan and pass the blockage stage." He called on "political blocs in general and influential decision-makers in the political scene to rapprochement with each other because of the commonality of the people of the same nation."
He added that "political stalemate is not strange to the political process in Iraq, after every election a new problem occurs, and although the elections are a national entitlement for all Iraqis, the low participation rate is a dangerous indicator, and if the political forces do not succeed in transcend this stage, the country will enter into A difficult situation," he added, adding: "But there is still hope for the political leaders to overcome this stage with the least possible losses, and the corresponding concessions by the political blocs to each other is a good thing for the benefit of the Iraqi people."
