BAGHDAD / NINA / The government's slowness to implement the legitimate
demands of the demonstrations led to increase demands. The MP, of /
    patriots / bloc Jum'a al-Matiuti said

He said in a statement to
the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The demands of the
demonstrations, at the beginning, were legitimate, convincing and
acceptable and some demands related to the government and others for the
House of Representatives and even the government said they are
legitimate, but the slow implementing led to outside intervention. "

    He
noted that: "The demonstrations began to be politicized to drag the
street into a sectarian war through slogans launched by some of
demonstrations' speakers that provoke sectarian strife and encourage
sectarian fighting, which service internal and external parties."

    Some
provinces are witnessing demonstrations and sit-ins for more than two
months, demanding to cancel the Justice and Accountability Law and
Article 4 terrorism and the release of detainees as well as balance the
    state institutions. / End
