Government coordination to create five thousand jobs

The Federal Public Service Council coordinates with the Ministry of Finance to carry out the creation processes and provide the financial allocation for five thousand positions for those remaining in the second phase of employment.
The official spokesman for the council, Saad Al-Lami, told Al-Sabah: The council is keen to complete the recruitment process for the top applicants and holders of higher degrees, numbering five thousand, through coordination and consultation with the relevant authorities, especially the Ministry of Finance and Parliament.
He added that work is underway to carry out the creation processes and provide financial allocation for job grades and titles in line with the specializations of the applicants, noting that the Council has made great efforts to find the needs of those remaining from the second phase.
Regarding the file of employing the medical and health group, Al-Lami explained that the council received 29 thousand names from the Ministry of Health, as its role is limited to receiving detailed data on specializations, names and numbers, after which it conducts the data audit and issues the employment decision after the approval of the Council of Ministers.
He explained that the third phase of recruitment will begin after the completion of the second phase, and includes collecting data for those covered by holders of higher degrees and the top students covered by Laws 59 and 67 of 2027 from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, then conducting the job intersection process to limit those who are entitled to apply, especially since the job grades come as a completion of the total number mentioned in General Budget Law No. 13 of 2023, which amounts to 31,000 job grades.
Al-Lami pointed out that the Public Service Institute is one of the major tasks of the Council, as it will work to establish it if it is legislated by the House of Representatives. Its importance is highlighted by the fact that it will be a formation that contributes to training and qualifying the administrative apparatus in the state, in addition to redrawing its map in a way that makes the public service employee capable of carrying out his duties in a different and modern way that keeps pace with the great development taking place in the countries of the world, and it also contributes to resolving many of the overlaps in powers between the Council and the ministries.
