    Baghdad - people
Today, Monday, the head of the Iraqi Consultative Council, Farhad Ala Al-Din, expected that the political impasse would move towards détente, attributing this to the recent positions of the international community, especially after briefing the United Nations representative in Iraq, Jenin Plasschaert, at a time when he confirmed that Al-Sadr’s position remains unchanged. .

Aladdin said in a series of tweets followed by "Nass" (October 10, 2022), that "a year has passed since the early elections and the formation of the government, it is still late, and the political forces have failed to resolve their differences despite marathon meetings and exceptional local and international mediations."

He added, the United Nations mission issued a statement urging them to dialogue and to "form a government with full powers."

On the State Administration Coalition, he confirmed that “a heated meeting brought together the political forces, except for the Sadrist movement, on Saturday, and the opinion was established that we should move towards setting the session to elect the President of the Republic, and the meeting decided to send a high-ranking delegation to Erbil to dialogue with the leader of the Democratic Party and urge him to agree with the Union, but their task is difficult.” Extremely".

Regarding the Shiite scene, he said, "The framework witnessed a major shift towards unity of decision after some of their leaders realized the impossibility of changing the candidate, so everyone became tweeting on the same tone, which is to move towards forming a government, and the framework believes that they can gather the required quorum with the partners to hold a session to elect the president of the republic, even if not Bring some power."

And to the Sadrist movement, the advisor saw "there is no change in the situation or dialogue with the framework, and the flexible signals that come out of the leaders of the first line contradict the hard-line position of the leader of the movement, which does not accept sitting with the leaders of the framework."

Aladdin added, "While the United Nations mission stresses that all actors must engage in dialogue without preconditions."

On the Kurdish scene, he explained that "there is no change and the agreement between the two parties is still far away, but the Democrat put forward new ideas about choosing the candidate for the president of the republic, which can be summed up in the decisiveness within the parliamentary bloc, or the decisiveness within the Kurdistan Parliament, and these ideas were rejected by the Union because they are in the interest of the Democrat and do not take into account the balance forces in the Kurdistan region.

And he added, regarding the international community, that "the United Nations mission issued a frank statement on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of the elections, in which it said: "Iraq does not have time, it is time for the political forces to bear responsibility, all parties must engage in dialogue without preconditions, and form a government with Full and effective.

He stressed that "France and Britain supported what was stated in the United Nations statement by issuing a statement for each of them," noting that "the warnings of the international community do not come from a vacuum, and they have great concerns about delaying the formation of the government, especially after a year has passed since the elections and the country is in a state of complete paralysis." .

Aladdin presented the summary of what was mentioned above, that "the statements of the international community coincide with the decisions of the meeting of the State Administration Coalition, and this is evidence that the decision was taken to elect the President of the Republic and form a new government."

He stressed that "we may soon witness marathon meetings on the government formation, the division of ministries, and the circulation of ministers' names."

He concluded by saying, "The countdown has begun to unblock the blockage."

Earlier, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi and a delegation from the State Administration Coalition arrived in Erbil.

The official agency, followed by "Nas", stated that "the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, and a delegation from the State Administration Coalition, including Faleh al-Fayyad and Muhammad Shi`a al-Sudani, arrived in Erbil today, Monday."
