Today, Monday, the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee identified six bills that will top the agenda of its meetings in the coming days.
The head of the committee, Khaled Al-Obeidi, said that "the committee has several draft laws, including the compulsory service law, which was read in the committee and submitted to the presidency of the council for presentation for the first reading."
He pointed out that "the Information Security Law is one of the important laws, which will be read first within the committee to be submitted to the Presidency. We have the Intelligence Law, the National Security Law, and the amendment of the Military Service and Retirement Law."
He added, "The Security and Defense Committee will host the Higher Committee for Drug Control in the coming days to discuss the anti-drug law and know their procedures and what their needs are."
