The delegation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), and the MDC, and the Islamic Union and the Islamic Group. 
    A member of the delegation and the head of the Kurdistan Islamic Group in the Iraqi parliament, Ahmed Haji Rashid said Kurdish forces discussed the issue of forming a government with the National Alliance for the forces of Representative and with the main Shiite forces representing Sunni trends. 

      Rashid added that the delegation met with the Supreme Council and the Sadrists, and Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri and his list, each separately. 

      Rashid: We have provided the constitutional demands of the Kurds, including what the disputed areas (Island) 

      Kurdish demands 
      Among the delegation that presented the most important demands of the Kurds constitutional, including with regard to the disputed areas and the benefits of the Kurdistan region of Iraq and real participation in political power. 

      And about the atmosphere of the talks, Rashid explained that there is flexibility in order to reach tangible results to serve the national interest. 

      He pointed out that near the end of the period of time set by the Constitution for the formation of the government requires agreement as soon as possible.

      But felt that this period is not sufficient and do not serve the political process, according to the contexts of time. 

      He talked about the optimism in the meetings of the political blocs of all parties and eagerness to solve the problems and the formation of a national government include all the components. 

      For his part, noted political science professor Dr. Canaan strange flesh to the accelerated pace of negotiating on forming a new Iraqi government, because of the pressure of the economic and security challenges facing the country. 

      But he added that intensive meetings between the political parties did not produce a specific result, and said there was no clear view on the formation of the government so far.

      He talked about the optimism among the Kurds, and said that the non-renewal of the Prime Minister outgoing Nuri al-Maliki to form a motive Erbil to search for solutions to their differences with Baghdad. 

      He explained that the Kurdish parties seeking to form a strong national government include everyone, and to agree on the wording of a successful political and security to end what Iraq is going through currently crises.
