The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, chaired, on Wednesday, an expanded meeting of the Parliamentary Services and Reconstruction Committee, which hosted the Governor of Baghdad, Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, and a number of agents and general managers in the relevant ministries, to solve the problems and obstacles facing the development of the entrances to the northern capital.
According to a statement by his office, Al-Mandalawi called on the government to "work hard to develop Baghdad's roads and entrances, especially the road linking the capital and the northern provinces, and make it within international standards and benefit from reputable companies with similar projects to contribute to a qualitative leap in this important aspect and in a manner befitting the status of the capital." ".
The First Deputy stressed "the need for continued coordination and cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities, to provide the services that citizens are waiting for, and to overcome problems that may hinder or delay the progress of work."
