, today, Sunday, Al-Rafidain Bank issued a clarification regarding the interest rate on the advances of employees, defense and interior employees, and retirees.
And the media office of the bank stated, in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of it, that "the interests of the advances amount to 5 percent, and they are fixed on the principal amount of the advance and are almost similar and are applicable to many banks."
The statement added, "As for the information that talked about high percentages on the advances, they are incorrect and not accurate, and that the bank has a reading of its financial accounts that were adopted in determining the benefits of the advance amount, and it is different from what some put in the media.
