Shafaq News/ The Turkish Statistics Authority announced, on Wednesday, that the Iraqis ranked third as the people who bought the most real estate in Turkey during the month of October.
The authority said, in a report seen by Shafaq News agency, that "home sales in Turkey to foreigners decreased by 8.8% in October 2022 compared to the same month of the previous year, and it became 5 thousand and 377 houses, Antalya ranked first with 2,123 houses, and Istanbul came In second place, with sales of 1,658 homes, then Mersin, with 490 homes.
And she added, "Turkey sold during the first ten months of this year 55,021 homes to foreigners, with an increase of 26.9% over the same period of the previous year."
She pointed out that "the Russians topped the rest of the countries in the most purchase of real estate in Turkey during October, with the number of two thousand and 23 houses, while the Iranians came in second place, as they bought 498 houses," noting that "the Iraqis came third, with a number of 310 houses, and the Ukrainians fourth, with a number of 216 houses." Germany fifth, with 211 homes.
Iraqis have topped the list of home buyers in Turkey since 2015, but it fell to second place after Iran at the beginning of 2021, before falling to third place since last April after Russian domination of Turkish real estate.

The Iraqis, after the Russians and Iranians, bought real estate in Turkey within a month
