A government source denied rumors that the Americans had delivered messages to Prime Minister Mohamed Shia'a al-Sudani regarding some ministers.

The source said, "There is no truth to what is rumored about the Americans sending messages to Al-Sudani not to deal with some ministers," considering that "those who spread such news have aspirations that have become clear and exposed to all."

He added that "most of the American officials repeated to Al-Sudani and the political leaders messages that included support, assistance, and a serious desire to establish the best relations."
