    On Thursday, the Investigation Department of the Integrity Commission announced that it had carried out seizures of "violations, fake receipts and bribery" in the water and health departments in Diwaniyah.
    The department said in a statement, "The team of the Diwaniyah Investigation Office, which moved to the Water Department in the province, was able, after checking the initial bids with a value of (5,000,000,000) dinars, to detect a violation of the conditions of supply and the speculative disclosure prepared by the Diwaniyah Water Department; then the beneficiary ", Indicating that "among the paragraphs of the tender is the supply of alum material for the amount of (1,000,000,000) dinars, contrary to the required specifications."
    In a separate operation in the same department, the department reported that "the team monitored the disbursement of rewards and receipts in the amount of (233,000,000) dinars that were disbursed in violation of the law based on fake receipts," noting that "the various exchange transactions date back to previous years."
    She explained that "the team caught an employee in the Diwaniyah Health Department - Medical Committees Division red-handed, in the act of receiving a bribe from one of the auditors," noting that "the accused bargained with the auditor to pay the bribe in exchange for completing the treatment of his disabled sister."
