The Parliamentary Investment Committee revealed, on Tuesday, an upcoming meeting with the Investment Authority and the "Hanwa" company implementing the Bismayah project to complete the implementation of 100,000 housing units.
Committee member Muhammad Al-Ziyadi said, "There will be a meeting of the committee, the Investment Authority, and the Hanwha Company, which is implementing the Bismayah project, regarding the company's return to work to complete the project, and to complete the construction of 100,000 housing units."
Al-Ziyadi added, in an interview with "Euphrates News" agency, followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the completion of housing units in Bismayah will be sufficient to alleviate the housing crisis and is suitable for people with limited income."
Al-Ziyadi pointed out that there is "a real intention to complete the project and find points of its lagging, and there are plans to establish complexes close to Bismayah to alleviate the housing crisis."
