    The head of the Investment Authority, Salar Muhammad Amin, announced, on Tuesday, the signing of an agreement with the South Korean Hanwha Company, which is implementing the Bismayah city project.
    Amin said in a statement that the agreement included "the return of work on the Bismayah residential project according to payment and delivery schedules for 9,540 housing units no later than 18 months from the date of signing the agreement, in a way that represented a fair solution to the previous financial dispute and the culmination of the detailed negotiations that continued over the past months."
    He added, "This agreement represents a roadmap for the implementation of the remainder of the project and a prelude to the conclusion of a new contract appendix that will be signed six months from now, in which a clear and accurate legal schedule for financial settlement between the two parties is taken into account, while ensuring the full flow of the marketing process in a manner consistent with the increasing demand for the project and ensuring This housing opportunity provides all segments and members of Iraqi society.
    The Chairman of the Commission praised "the efforts of the legal negotiating team in the Commission and the great support it received from the members of the Parliamentary Investment and Development Committee during the past year," expressing "optimism that this agreement will be a good beginning for the Commission's achievements for the current year, which we planned and are working to witness the launch of housing projects with cards." It is different for limited and middle-income people in Baghdad and the provinces.
