The Parliamentary Legal Committee announced today, Friday, that Parliament is moving towards amending the retirement law proposal.
The head of the committee, Muhammad Anouz, said: "Parliament is moving towards amending the retirement law proposal and making it meet all the needs of the retiree and remove him from financial need," pointing out that "the House of Representatives is in the process of studying the unification of the retirement law for all military and civilian groups, and there is seriousness in resolving the proposal."
He added, "The amendment is proposed by the previous sessions of Parliament and is among the government projects," stressing "the need to amend the paragraphs of the proposed law related to age and calculating the salary or wages that are paid to retirees."
He pointed out, "The necessity of calculating the pensioner's salary according to his total salary, not the nominal, in order to provide a decent life for the retired," stressing, "
