Today, Wednesday, the leader in the coordination framework, Representative Aref Al-Hamami, revealed the existence of legal clauses that allow the government to distribute salaries next year, even with the delay in the budget.

Al-Hamami, a member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, said in a press interview, "The speech of Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi about the government's inability to disburse any amount of money after December 31, because the 2023 budget has not been approved, is incorrect," indicating that according to that, " The 2022 budget was also not passed, and therefore it is not possible to spend on the 2021 budget data because there is no legal text, but this matter is incorrect.

He pointed out that "the government assured us of the availability of financial liquidity and the legal provisions that allow us to spend, because the state cannot stop spending and paralyze the financial movement in the country due to the lack of approval of the budget."
