On Thursday, the holy governorate of Karbala announced the completion of more than 80 various tourist facilities during the past year 2022, and while confirming its intention to complete many tourism projects this year, it revealed its intention to declare the governorate the capital of Arab tourism.
Governor Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi said in a statement reported by the official newspaper, "Karbala is witnessing great development in many areas, the most important of which is the tourism sector, as more than 80 various tourist facilities have been completed," stressing that his administration "is continuing during this year to establish many tourist facilities."
He pointed out that
Al-Khattabi explained, "Karbala is witnessing a major urban campaign through its strategic projects, as work continues to establish various projects and infrastructure that serve the Holy City, in addition to various tourism projects," adding that "it has provided all facilities for these projects with service departments."
