Economic expert Nabil Al-Marsoumi hinted today, Friday, that the dollar against the dinar will stabilize at 161 thousand dinars for every 100 dollars, while he confirmed that there are only two solutions to prevent the dinar from deteriorating further.
Al-Marsoumi said, in a clarification received by "Baghdad Today": "From the latter, the dollar is equal to 1610 dinars, and the reason: the application of the electronic platform."
He added, "The treatment consists in adapting to the rules of the electronic platform, or postponing its implementation if the United States of America agrees."
He stressed that "without these two solutions, the dinar will deteriorate further, and others are just empty talk and unnecessary philosophy without meaning, and an unjustified headache for the heads."
Experts and specialists indicate the ineffectiveness of the central bank's measures to control the rise in dollar prices, as the bank continues to pump dollars for cash sales, at a time when demand is concentrated on dollars of foreign remittances for the purpose of import.
