A member of the Iraqi Parliament, “Ali Shaddad Al-Faris,” said that the decisions of the Federal Court obligated the Council of Representatives to make the third amendment to the provincial, district, and sub-district elections law.[/size]
[size=45]“Shaddad” added that the decisions of the Federal Court No. (34 federal for the year 2021), (159 federal for the year 2021) and (103 federal for the year 2019) were binding on the Iraqi Council of Representatives to amend the law on the elections of provincial councils, districts and sub-districts, to become the law on the elections of the House of Representatives and provincial councils.[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that "the new law must represent true justice in dividing the vote and achieve real proportional representation for the members of Iraqi society."[/size]
