Prime Minister Mohamed Shiaa Al-Sudani met his Danish counterpart, Mette Frederiksen, in Munich.
During the meeting, they reviewed ways to strengthen relations of cooperation and friendship between Iraq, Denmark and other European Union countries, and opportunities for joint work in the economic fields and development partnership.
The two sides discussed the importance of cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and extremism and the role played by Iraq to establish security and stability in the region.
The Prime Minister expressed "Iraq's desire to open investment horizons for European companies," stressing "the importance of combating financial and administrative corruption as one of the government's priorities."
