Today, Monday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani discussed with the Iranian Minister of Economy and Finance, Ehsan Khandozi, all economic files and issues.
The media office of Al-Sudani said in a statement received by (Baghdad Today) that "the latter received the Iranian Minister of Economy and Finance, Ihsan Khanduzi, where the meeting witnessed discussions on all economic files and issues, cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance them for the benefit of the Iraqi and Iranian peoples."
Al-Sudani pointed out, according to the statement, "the importance of supporting the work of the joint Iraqi-Iranian committee and consolidating bilateral partnership at various levels and fields."
For his part, the Iranian minister renewed, according to the statement, "the Iranian leadership's appreciation for the Iraqi role in converging views, which led to the recent understanding between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a way that strengthens the security and stability of the region."
