The Governor of Anbar, Ali Farhan Al-Dulaimi, issued a statement on gatherings without official permission, while indicating that they are reflected in the province's economic stability.
Al-Dulaimi said in a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, that "it was recently observed that some gatherings were held without prior official permissions from the relevant competent authorities in the governorate, which may lead to incorrect indications of the security situation, and cause negative, chaotic behaviors that are reflected." On the economic stability of Anbar, and these activities, which are categorically rejected, coincide with the security and military movement of our armed forces on the outskirts of cities to confront terrorist cells.
He added, "Field information indicates monitoring of misleading activity for forms that the parties that called for today's gathering and are promoting claim that they are for the purpose of appointing volunteers in the Awakenings. Its promoters, and we affirm that such acts are illegal and place the provincial government and its security leadership at the core of legal and moral responsibility to confront these practices in cooperation and consultation with the security authorities in the federal government with the aim of dealing with great seriousness and firmness to prevent any attempt to tamper with the security of citizens and will have a position to prevent the recurrence of such breaches.”
