    Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Oil affirmed the government and the ministry's keenness to expand the consumption of oil exports to the Kurdistan Region through the Turkish port of Ceyhan, and to work to bring points of view closer to serve the public interest.
    A statement by the ministry, received by (Baghdad Today), said that it "has sponsored the flexibility required to move forward towards achieving the goal of resuming exports first according to the new data after the decision of the International Tribunal, and then to discuss Other outstanding technical issues between the center and the region, for the Ministry of Oil to realize the importance of the revenues generated from the consumption of exporting the region's oil in supplying the federal budget according to the quantities agreed upon.
    The statement added, "The ministry, in light of the positive atmosphere and bilateral understandings, hopes to reach an agreement to resume oil exports soon," noting that "if a final agreement is reached in accordance with the new understandings to export oil, this will be announced in due course.”
