    Baghdad today - Baghdad
Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs directed to maximize the collective effort of the Iraqi embassies in three countries in order to coordinate the evacuation of the Iraqi community in Sudan.
The ministry's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a press statement: "Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein directed to maximize the collective effort of the Iraqi embassies in Khartoum, Cairo and Abu Dhabi to expedite coordination and response with sister countries to facilitate the evacuation of the Iraqi community in Sudan."
Al-Sahhaf called on the Iraqi community in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, to "immediately register to return to Iraq, by contacting the numbers of the embassy of the Republic of Iraq there."
He stressed, "We are working to achieve a very urgent response, and the safety of our community is a top priority."
