The head of the National Investment Commission, Haidar Muhammad Makiya, discussed the final stages of completing the updated investment map for the year 2023.
And a statement of the commission, which was received by (Baghdad Today), stated that Makiya "stressed, during his presidency of a meeting of the commission's board of directors, the efforts made by the specialized staff of the commission to complete the updated investment map for the year 2023, in coordination with the ministries and sectoral agencies."
And he stressed, "the importance of progressing the work stages in the Bismayah residential complex through the important steps achieved by the National Authority in negotiating with the South Korean Hanwha Company, completing the paragraphs of the contract appendix for approval and initiating the construction of housing units for citizens."
According to the statement, the meeting discussed "amendments to Resolution No. (245) of 2019 proposed by the National Investment Commission to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers in order to simplify the investment process procedures and encourage investors and large companies to work in the Iraqi environment."
