    Information / Baghdad..
A member of the State of Law Coalition, Abbas al-Maliki, warned, on Thursday, against dismissing the corrupt who hold positions in the state without being held accountable and punished by the judicial agencies.
Al-Maliki told Al-Maalouma, "The corrupt official should be referred to the judiciary in order to be held accountable according to the law for the act or violation he committed, away from dismissal without legal punishment."
He added, "The dismissal of the corrupt without accountability and punishment will serve as a reward for this corrupt person and encourage others to repeat such actions and increase them in the country."
He pointed out that "Al-Sudani must hold all the corrupt accountable separately and punish them in accordance with the law based on what they have done."
Al-Maliki pointed out that "sufficiency in dismissal will be a reward that encourages the continuation of corruption in state institutions."
And he indicated that "protecting any person who falters is considered a disruption of state institutions, and therefore harms everyone, including the parties and blocs of those people who occupy those positions that Al-Sudani targeted for change." End/25n
