    A member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Burhan Raouf, revealed today, Sunday, the most important axes of the meeting with the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Erbil, while confirming that Article 140 related to the disputed areas was discussed before the region's elections.

    Raouf said in an interview with the information agency, "The meeting included intensive dialogues in order to end the differences between the two Kurdish parties over many files," noting that "discussions took place to end all outstanding problems between the region and the central government."
    And he added, "There is agreement from the two Kurdish parties on the file of approving the oil and gas law in the coming period from the central government," stressing "the need to increase coordination with the Ministry of Oil and the national SOMO company in order to find the necessary solutions to the problem of stopping oil exports in Kurdistan."
    He continued, "The Kurdistan Parliament elections file was discussed, especially after the Federal Court's decision that the continuation of the current parliament's work is unconstitutional," pointing out that "Article 140, which concerns disputed areas, was discussed before holding the region's elections."
    The relationship between the Parti and Alekti is witnessing a great deterioration and continuous disputes, since 2018 to the present time, as disputes continue between the Kurdish parties within the Kurdistan region regarding many files, most notably the election law, in addition to the desire of the Sulaymaniyah governorate, which prompted some European countries to intervene to resolve these differences.
