The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee confirmed that Iraq was able to persuade America to remove its last soldier and separate him from the Syrian military arena. [/rtl]
[rtl]Committee member Muhammad Hassan Al-Shammari said in a press statement, "The committee hosted the Minister of Defense regarding negotiations with the United States of America regarding the security agreement and the outcomes of the Iraqi delegation's meeting, which acted as equals with the American side and was able to convince the other party to remove the last soldier. Al-Shammari added, "A new security agreement with the United States of America will include separating the Syrian military arena from Iraq, and this is very important and distances the country from the events taking place there." He pointed out, "The agreement will include the removal of the remaining advisers and trainers, not just soldiers, as needed."He also stressed that "the American drones will not roam Iraqi airspace without the knowledge of the government, and that they are not armed at all, and this is done according to a mechanism followed according to the new security agreement."[/rtl]
