Shafaq News/ The Iraqi judicial authority announced that it will start approving the testimony of witnesses remotely and through "online" electronic means of communication, in order to speed up the completion of trials.
In an official letter issued by the Presidency of the Supreme Judicial Council on August 7, 2023, seen by Shafaq News Agency today, Monday, the Council decided to approve the approval of the testimony via electronic means "video communication" in the courts of appeal of the governorates of Nineveh, Babil, Dhi Qar, and Basra.
According to the book, the aim is to speed up court procedures and complete the cases brought before them.
