The judiciary agrees with the Ministry of the Interior to expedite the resolution of the issues of the detainees of the liberation of Nineveh

The Supreme Judicial Council agreed with the Ministry of the Interior on a mechanism to expedite the resolution of the files of suspects detained in the liberation operations of Nineveh province, while agreed on a mechanism to deal with the arrest warrants issued by bilateral names.
"The president of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faik Zaidan, received in his office Interior Minister Qassem al-Araji and discussed a number of issues, foremost of which is joint action to expedite the settlement of investigative cases," judicial spokesman Judge Abdul Sattar Berqdar said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
"The meeting focused on increased coordination to expedite the resolution of the files of suspects arrested during the liberation operations of Ninewa province," he said, noting that "the President of the Judicial Council instructed the President of the Nineveh Federal Appeal, who was present at the meeting, increasing the number of investigating judges for this purpose "He said.
The judge pointed out that "an agreement got to allocate one of the buildings occupied by the Ministry of the Interior and make it the seat of the judiciary in the new Baghdad."
He pointed out that "the meeting resulted in facilitating the allocation of elements of the protection of personalities to work to provide protection to judges."
"We have agreed on a mechanism to deal with the arrest warrants issued by bilateral names in order to expedite their resolution," Berkdar said.
