Today, Saturday, the Governor of Baghdad, Eng. Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta, directed that more than 60 cars be harnessed to transport the visitors who are in the holy city of Kadhimiya, in support of the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
A statement by the Government Media and Communication Department, which was received by "Al-Iqtisad News", stated that "Al-Atta conducted a field tour in the holy city of Kadhimiya, to see the flow of visitors' movement in the capital, and directed the harnessing of 62 cars from the Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs, to facilitate the process of promoting visitors in the city due to the urgent need and withdrawing The momentum taking place there, as directed by moving to the holy city of Karbala, to transport the visitors after the end of the Ziyarat ceremonies in the city of Kadhimiya.
Al-Atta indicated, according to the statement, that "Baghdad Governorate launched its convoys yesterday to supply the holy city of Karbala with a million glasses of water as a first meal in support of the Arbaeen pilgrimage, in addition to providing hundreds of cars to transport visitors for free, and hundreds of specialized cars to provide municipal services inside Karbala," pointing to "the presence of a streamlined process." And high-level coordination with the security authorities in the process of promoting visitors.
He called on visitors to "commit to public order, and to cooperate with the state's security and health agencies and service teams to facilitate the smooth flow of the one-million visit."
