{Local: Al-Furat News} The Ministry of Communications confirmed, today, Tuesday, that it is moving towards breaking the monopoly of the Internet market, which is controlled by one company by more than 80% of the market.
The communications media stated in a statement received by {Al-Furat News}, “The Ministry of Communications calls on all media outlets to investigate accurate information from their correct sources, and not to listen to paid trumpets that deliberately mislead public opinion and belittle the mind of the recipient among those who like to play on the string of abhorrent sectarianism.” And adopting extremist rhetoric and sectarian incitement.”
In this regard, the Ministry refers to “the axioms of communications infrastructure that were absent from those claiming “expertise” from those who call themselves “communications experts,” which are that communications, like oil and electricity, depend on the geography of the governorates, as each group of geographically adjacent governorates is fed by the Internet through border ports. The wilderness near these governorates.
The Ministry confirms what it stated previously that it is moving towards breaking the monopoly of the Internet market, which is controlled by one company with a percentage of more than 80% of the market, and all users complain about its poor services and high prices as a result of the absence of real competition between Internet service providers, and the Ministry reserves its right to take legal measures against everyone. Whoever deliberately misleads public opinion and inflames sectarianism.
