     Information / Baghdad..
On Wednesday, member of the Parliamentary Communications Committee, Aqeel Al-Fatlawi, revealed the features of a strategic communications project in Iraq.
Al-Fatlawi said in an interview with “Al-Ma’louma” that “Iraq’s strategic location as the most important link in the terrain linking the Arabian Gulf to Europe via Turkey has prompted many countries to propose pioneering investment projects, including tanzanite, which includes 3 important axes, the most prominent of which is the extension of optical cables from the port of Al-Faw towards Europe.” Via Turkey.
He added, "The project will change the compass of global Internet connections and push for 35% to pass through Iraq, which means that its financial revenues will be large in addition to the volume of investments in infrastructure, not to mention that the exchange of interests will push many of the state to support a safe and stable environment in the country because they share “With him, he has strategic financial interests.”
He pointed out that "Iraq's transit is a project that parallels the path of development, but its revenues will be greater and will benefit the country in placing it on the global communications map."
Most countries in the world rely on extending terrestrial and optical cables over a long distance to transmit the Internet between them, as it has become a vital lifeline for communications. Ended25 F
