According to judicial orders, the General Manager of the Central Refineries Company was arrested on charges of inflation and money laundering, in addition to the seizure of participation contracts in his possession.
The Integrity Commission stated in a statement that the Commission’s supporting team was able to implement the arrest warrant issued by the investigating judge of the Central Anti-Corruption Criminal Court against the General Director of the Central Refineries Company in the Ministry of Oil. On charges of money laundering and illicit gain amounting to (7,841,605,000) seven billion eight hundred and forty-one million dinars, indicating that the operation also resulted in the seizure of participation contracts in a hotel and a factory in his possession.
