Against the background of issuing a forged book; For the purpose of disbursing the allocations of a contracting company to implement a project whose cost exceeds (14) billion dinars.
The Authority’s Government Information and Communications Office indicated the implementation of an arrest warrant against the director of the governorate’s Electricity Distribution Directorate after the Salah al-Din Investigation Office’s work team revealed violations and forgery in an electrical materials supply project. To maintain networks throughout the governorate in the amount of (14,317,875,000) dinars, indicating that the contract that the governorate concluded with a general contracting company comes within the program for restoring stability and reconstruction of liberated cities for the year 2019. He added that
the team’s investigations concluded that the accused sent a forged letter to the Directorate of Planning and Follow-up in Diwan The governorate, just two days after signing the contract, included approval to implement the third advance for the project, claiming that the completion rate had reached (78%), which resulted in the disbursement of an amount of (3,000,000,000) dinars, without preparing any of the contract materials.
He explained that the Accounts Department at the Governorate Office made a settlement and disbursed all of the company’s remaining dues before preparing the contract materials, amounting to (2,919,400,000) dinars. Although the preparation of materials worth (6,420,854,000) dinars was completed six months after the date of disbursement of the full contract amount, he pointed out that this came based on guidance and pressure from the former governor of Salah al-Din; The project belongs to him and is managed by one of his relatives, according to what the accused, director of the Electricity Distribution Directorate, said./ End 9[/rtl]
