Committee member, Asaad Al-Bazuni, told Al-Furat News: “We find that there is a major problem with the rise in the prices of housing units throughout Iraq, despite the housing projects, loans, and complexes.”
He added, "The state grants the land to the investor for small amounts of 2% of its original value."
Al-Bazuni pointed out, “We note that prices have risen significantly and the interest is for the investor only, and this is one of the biggest negatives.”
