[size=45]Economic expert Nabil Al-Marsoumi confirmed that the general population census in Iraq, which reached 45 million people, is consistent with the previous estimates of the Ministry of Planning, which reflects the existence of an accurate and reliable database on the demographic situation in the country.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Marsoumi explained in a post on Facebook that “this data contributes to facilitating the development process, but it does not directly create it, as the census is a tool that supports development, but political will is what creates it.”[/size]
[size=45]Al-Marsoumi added that “some statements that linked the census to major development opportunities are exaggerated,” stressing that “the census is nothing more than a step in the development path and not the main factor in it.”[/size]
