The Ministry of Education intends to distribute the scholarship to students and students via the MasterCard for the Social Protection Network salary for the student’s family.
The ministry's official spokesman, Karim Al-Sayyed, told Al-Sabah that the distribution of the grant allocated to students and students will be through the MasterCard card for families included in the social welfare salary, denying that it will be distributed directly in schools, taking into account the psychological aspect of those covered by it among their other colleagues.
He pointed out that the Ministry directed school administrations to count the numbers of students and students covered by the aforementioned grant, through official forms and documents related to social welfare for every family that receives a salary and has students or students enrolled in primary and secondary education to be included in it, noting that the distribution will be from the first month of the 2023 academic year - 2024 until the last month thereof. He pointed out that the Ministry is keen to distribute it on a regular and monthly basis among those covered by it in coordination with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. The Ministry of Education announced last week that it had put the final touches to the electronic link for the student scholarship, for the purpose of disbursing it according to the date approved in the Federal Budget Law for the three years (2023-2024). 2025).
