Middle East affairs researcher, Heba Al-Fadaam, said today, Saturday, that the United States of America does not trust the Baghdad government with regard to the budget and hard currency, while Washington is practicing “bone-breaking” with Iran and the alliance to which it belongs through its influence in Iraq. .
Al-Fadam stated in an interview followed by Mawazine News, “Washington’s position on the Baghdad government is more positive than negative, and this is clearly evident through the movements of the United States Ambassador and her visits to government institutions in Iraq.”
She added, “As for the part of the American treasury, loans, and the dollar, this file is completely different, as what prevails in this relationship is Washington’s lack of confidence regarding the management of the Baghdad government regarding the budget and hard currency.”
She explained, “Washington is aware of the size and depth of Iranian interference in Iraq, and the extent of its influence on the decisions of the Baghdad government. Therefore, it views the Baghdad government as being submissive and even subservient in its decisions and movements to what Tehran and its allies in the region dictate to it.”
She pointed out, “Washington is practicing a bone-breaking process with Iran and the alliance to which it belongs through its influence in Iraq and its large presence there.”
