    [size=45]Yesterday, Sunday, the head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Haider Hanoun, announced that a percentage of up to 25% would be allocated to informants about stolen or smuggled public money, while revealing the size of the recovered funds, confirming that 5 billion Iraqi dinars had been recovered from the financial advisor to former Prime Minister Haitham al-Jubouri.[/size]
    [size=45]Hanoun said during a press conference that “the government’s sincere will was and still is the most prominent reason for the Commission’s success in achieving its achievements,” pointing out that “citizens have the right to follow up on information and the government’s achievements and have the right to participate in exposing corruption,” announcing the imminent launch of the title “Friend of Integrity.” For those who cooperate with the Commission in arresting those accused of red-handed crimes, and who has privileges in appointment or promotion in exchange for assistance.”[/size]
    [size=45]He continued: “We will give to anyone who informs about stolen or smuggled public money or contributes to the return of this money, at a rate that may reach 25% of the recovered money, in accordance with the legal articles in the Iraqi constitution.”[/size]
    [size=45]Hanoun pointed out that “the Public Money Recovery Fund recovered 70 and a half million dollars from a bank in Switzerland as part of the second wallet from the director of relations in the former intelligence service,” also revealing that “26 million dollars were recovered from the funds of Al-Huda Religious Tourism Company, which was established in 2000.” Which was transporting Iranian visitors.” The authority also recovered “6 billion dinars from the United Bank for Private Investment as part of the Iraqi Export Fund corruption file, as the bank belongs to (Fadil Dabbas).”[/size]
    [size=45]He stated, “5 billion Iraqi dinars were recovered from the financial advisor to former Prime Minister Haitham al-Jubouri,” noting that “the amount recovered from al-Jubouri’s money reached 9 billion dinars out of 18 billion.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added, “One and a half billion were recovered from the Director General of Central Refineries, Ayed Jaber Omran, who is currently suspended, and this is part of the inflation amount, which amounts to 7 billion and 841 million dinars.”[/size]
