Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed today, Tuesday, that the decisions to increase the salaries of retirees come to alleviate the suffering of retirees and junior employees, and there is a committee formed to follow up the salary scale.
Al-Sudani said during a press conference, “Unifying the employee salary scale requires canceling 34 types of allocations, and the social protection network’s minimum salary is now 250-350 thousand dinars, and that the heirs of retirees are a forgotten group that has not been treated fairly in decisions over the past period, and the number of heirs of retirees is approximately 1,400,000.” citizens and were not included in any previous decisions related to combating poverty.”
