The Ministry of Transportation mentioned in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday ”Based on the instructions of the Minister of Transportation, Hadi al-Ameri, the Iraqi General Company of Railways concluded a preliminary agreement with the Romanian company (Astra), which is specialized in railways sector, to establish a joint company specialized in Railways industry to manufacture passengers trains.”It is worth mentioning that ‘The Romanian company (Astra) considered a leading in Railways field and it has been founded since more than 120 years,” noting that “The Romanian company is working in cooperation and under the supervision of the famous mark Siemens.” \
