A statement from his office, a copy of which {Al-Furat News} received, stated: “The meeting discussed the necessity of unifying Arab and Islamic positions and efforts towards crucial issues, most notably stopping the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation army against the Palestinian people and opening the crossings to bring in humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.”
Al-Mandalawi stressed, “activating the prospects for joint cooperation, especially the parliamentary ones, between the two sides and the work of the Friendship and Brotherhood Committee to exchange experiences, in addition to emphasizing the acceleration of addressing the outstanding common files between the two brotherly countries.”
