    The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities confirmed today, Thursday, the entry into the fourth phase of works within the first package to relieve traffic congestion and remove the majority of conflicts, noting that these projects represent a qualitative leap in reforming the reality of roads in Iraq.
    Ministry spokesman Nabil Al-Saffar told the official agency and its follower, Al-Maalouma, that “the projects to relieve traffic congestion launched by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani constitute a qualitative leap in the projects to provide services that the government has pledged.”
    He added, "The work on these projects has entered the fourth stage in terms of constructing the bridges. We divided each project into six stages. The first stage includes the construction of the pillars, then the pillar caps, columns, column capitals, and then the joists. This is taking place in conjunction with opening sections for the rest of the existing work on the one hand." Erecting the columns and completing the installation of their capitals and pedestal caps.”
    Al-Saffar added, “There is an increase in completion rates, especially after the Prime Minister’s directives to work twenty-four hours a day with three meals. The completion of the projects is supposed to end in mid-2024 and have entered service in addition to other projects.     He continued, "The issue of conflicts is one of the most significant problems facing our work, and the Prime Minister's directive came to remove all these conflicts to speed up the resolution of the problem, especially those related to laying water and sewage pipes, power transmission lines, communications cables, and others. Failure to remove them would have hindered the projects if these conflicts had not been resolved." Ended 25 n
