    He pointed to "the important role of the United Nations in supporting international efforts, taking appropriate measures to reduce the water crisis and activating cooperation in the field of transboundary water to ensure fair distribution among riparian countries."
    The President also touched on “the situation in the Gaza Strip and the suffering of the Palestinian people as a result of the ongoing aggression against which they are exposed,” noting “the necessity of taking a serious international stance to stop this aggression and allow aid to reach the Palestinian people.”
    The statement concluded, "The two sides also discussed a number of issues related to the challenges of climate change and ways to confront them in a way that ensures the preservation of the environment and human life in the world."
