    The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Rashid, confirmed that Iraq has solved all its problems with neighboring countries, while noting that the government is playing the role of mediator in the region.

    The President of the Republic continued, "Our relations are good with neighboring countries and the region," pointing out that "the security situation is stable in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], but the media is trying to distort this image."

    He pointed out that "displacement processes in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] are linked to many factors, including climate change," adding that "displacement processes are now decreasing significantly inside [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]."

    Rashid pointed out, "The drying up of the marshes was not due to climate change, but rather due to military operations," adding, "We have solved all our problems with neighboring countries and are playing the role of mediator in the region."

    He stressed that "[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] lost a third of the country due to terrorist acts," noting that "[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]'s decision is independent on issues in the region and we do not follow any other country."
