    [Baghdad]

    Commended
    the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) efforts of the Ministry
    of the environment of the Centre for radiation protection in the area of
    environmental protection and working within a filter of nuclear
    installations in Iraq.

    The Ministry said in a statement faxed to
    all Iraq [where] a copy of it today, "the latest report issued by the
    technical meeting held at its headquarters in the Austrian capital
    [Vienna] between international experts and representatives of the Centre
    for radiation protection, radiation control commended the outstanding
    work of the Centre for radiation protection and were comfortable with
    clear to apply regulatory radiation safety standards in accordance with
    IAEA standards and controls in this regard."

    He noted that the
    meeting discussed the nature of the work in several locations of such
    facilities, including [Tuwaitha in Baghdad weadaih in Nineveh], adding
    that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) resulted in several
    discussions during the meeting, and positive, as a result of the
    regulatory work of the coverage focused on radiation safety requirements
    in terms of licensing for the removal and filter after seeing the plans
    with implementation of regulatory acts containing radiological surveys
    and field and laboratory measurements and collect samples of soil and
    surface water and groundwater with biological models for the collection
    And citizens as well.

    universally supported environmental systems, particularly that Iraq
    suffers from many infections as a result of neglect that has many
    facilities, for three decades prior to the change in Iraq."Finished
