Today, Monday (December 11, 2023), the Ministry of Interior issued the final statement of the annual visit of anti-drug officials to the countries of the second procedural sub-working group.
The Ministry stated in a statement received by “Baghdad Today” that “the beloved capital, Baghdad, during the two days of December 9/10, was honored by the visit of representatives of the anti-narcotics agencies from the countries of the second procedural sub-working group, with the participation of officials of the group’s countries in the work of the annual conference of the General Administration of Public Affairs.” Narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances (Arab Republic of Egypt - State of Kuwait - Republic of Yemen - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - United Arab Emirates) and the Arab Bureau for Narcotics Affairs.
She added, "The final statement was issued in the presence of the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari," indicating that "the statement stressed the continuation of cooperation and coordination between the participating countries to combat this scourge and eliminate the international trade in these toxins."
