According to the Turkish Statistics Authority, Turkey's exports to Iraq during the 11 months of 2023 amounted to more than 11.534 billion dollars. In contrast, Turkey's exports to Iraq until November 2022 amounted to 12.6 billion dollars, which means that they decreased by 9% during 2023.
On the other hand, Iraq's exports to Turkey during the 11 months of 2023 amounted to more than 1.364 billion dollars, an increase of 2.5% compared to the same period in 2022, in which Iraq's exports to Turkey amounted to 1.332 billion dollars.
In the total trade balance during the 11 months of the year 2023 between Iraq and Turkey, the total trade exchange amounted to about 12.9 billion dollars.
The trade balance was tilted in favor of Turkey by 89%, compared to only 11% in favor of Iraq. In other words, Turkey exported to Iraq 8 times what it imported from it during the year 2023.
