Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Education confirmed the receipt of 500 schools within one year, while noting that there are more than one million male and female teachers confirmed on staff.
The Ministry’s spokesman, Karim Al-Sayyed, said in a press statement: “The Ministry of Education takes into account scientific sobriety in its decisions, and the recent adaptation of the curricula included the third intermediate and sixth preparatory schools,” indicating that “preparations for printing the curricula for the next academic year have begun from now.”
He added, "We have more than a million teachers appointed to the staff, and more than 350,000 lecturers have been appointed in the Ministry of Education," noting that "the appointment of new lecturers depends on the employment policy in the country."
He stated that "the current year will be the year of school activities, as 500 schools were received within one year, which is an unprecedented number since 2003. We also seek to complete and receive 8,000 schools as quickly as possible," pointing out that "there are 300 caravan schools in Iraq, while Most of the clay schools are concentrated in Salah al-Din and Dhi Qar.”
