A member of the Parliamentary Education Committee MP from the alliance of Raad al-Mukusi, said on Wednesday that Education Minister Qusay al-Suhail assumed the post of Minister of Education and Agency after the resignation of Health Minister Alaa Alwan from his position as Minister of Education and Agency.
"The Minister of Health resigned from his position last Thursday, and this resignation, the Minister went the right track and without any political pressure, as this ministry is a share of others despite the left to choose the Minister of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi ".
He added that "Health Minister Alaa Alwan may have found that there is a huge legacy in the ministry and saw that he will fail to manage over the next four years, he has resigned from the post, and left not the arrival of Abdul Mahdi, a technocrat also for the health portfolio."
He explained that "the Ministry of Education has been entrusted to the Minister of Higher Education Qusay al-Suhail, because the Minister of Health Alaa Alwan was the Minister of Education Agency, and since he submitted his resignation, it must perform the functions of someone else," stressing that "the resignation of Alwan represents a positive factor for the rest of the ministers, As all ministers must evaluate themselves in the administration of the ministry or not and take their decision without any pressure or political uproar.
